Cozy atmosphere, good service and food.

We stopped here after a tour of the vineyards. The Corona rules have been implemented very well here. Sitting in the garden restaurant is very nice. The food was very tasty. The sea life staff could have been a little friendlier and more attentive. The price-performance ratio is right here.

We have been to this ostrich tavern many times. Friendly reception by the boss. Professional service. The Corona conditions were met properly and in accordance with the regulations. Beautiful and comfortable to sit outside. Here you can indulge your culinary delights. Last but not least, the warm hospitality in a friendly atmosphere also contributes to a relaxing stay, where the guest will find the right drop of wine as the culmination of enjoyment. All in all 5 stars plus from my side.

July 31st, 20. We had 2 seats, as usual, registration, with mask to the table and corona registration with data. Receive a friendly welcome from the boss and space. After ordering the drinks, we opted for salmon with potato pancakes from the additional table. Everything is good and, when the weather is nice, it is also very nice to sit outdoors. Only in the Corona period you rarely get into conversation with the other visitors because the distance is too large 🤔. The service staff asked every now and then whether everything was right.We would love to come back. First post: Open again after the holidays. Had a place for two with two nice women at the table outside. Nice friendly gentlemen as service staff, the cards were on the table so that we could express our drink request, 2 wine spritzers. For the two meals we still had enough time until the drinks came to us to choose: brawn with fried potatoes € 8 and schnitzel with salad and bread € 9.20. A surcharge of € 1 was charged for the additionally ordered sauce for schnitzel (herb cream sauce). The food jelly was sufficient and good, the schnitzel was a bit too firm for me, but otherwise OK with the fresh bread. Wine spritzers were also good for us. We had a nice place and also had a good chat with the other guests at the table. Our neighbor had complained to the young lady as a service worker because she hadn't brought the order as he ordered it. I would have to agree with him that the young lady hadn't really listened. But all in all ok.

Unfortunately, a disappointment. Corona regulations in particular are not taken too strictly. 6 should be seated at a table for 4 people and people are constantly being transferred, so that ultimately infection chains are no longer comprehensible. The distance is not guaranteed and the service was rather unfriendly when we pointed it out to us. We shouldn't be too fussy and earlier that wouldn't have been a problem. In addition, the price-performance ratio was rather mediocre. Therefore, the restaurant is rather not recommended.

Good wines, tasty food. Unfortunately, too many seats are blocked by reservations, so that it happens that one finds no free space, although half of the Tables seems to be free.

Beautiful ostrich farm, ample parking. Also nice to sit outside in the shade. Food very good (for example, colorful salad with pork tenderloin, 11,50), wines cheap and good (eg 9a, Kerner Spätlese)
